Zinc Replacement

We all know water conducts electricty and saltwater does it even better. There is always ungrounded current somewhere in our waterways. From underwater cables or your electronics, this free current can wreak havock on metal.

Zinc is used as a sacraficial material to save your boat.

Without replacing your zinc anodes you could damage your:

• props
• shafts
• rudders
• hull
• and any metal objects attached to your hull

Prop Service

Sooner or later comes a time where you run aground or hit floating objects. When this happens your prop can get damaged.

A damaged prop will not be efficient and can cause damage to other parts of the runnning gear if not repaired. D&B offers full service repairs from taking off the prop while the vessel is still in the water, refirbishing or replacing, and full installation.
